Location:

sternal extremity of the clavicle, between the sternal head and clavicular head
of m. sternocleidomastoideus.
Indications:
- Chest congestion, cough and asthma, dyspnea
- Goiter, scrofula
- Pain and rigidity of the neck
Functions:
Descends Qi, benefits the throat and neck, alleviates cough.
Needling: Perpendicular insertion .3 - .5 cun.
Under the points from ST 11 to ST 18, there are important organs and a main
artery.
Do not puncture these points deeply. |
